Ballet & Lyrical: Classical alignment, grace, ankle flexibility, and fluid emotional storytelling.

Hip Hop: Fast-paced rhythm synchronization, popping/locking mechanics, and individual stage confidence.

Acro & Tumbling: Safe, progressive floor-work, flexibility stretching, and safe mat tumbling.

Fueled by a lifelong passion for movement, Sarah Stokes, known affectionately as "Stokes," brings over 15 years of dance experience and a decade of teaching expertise to Stokes Studios. Her journey began in the dynamic world of gymnastics and power tumbling, where she honed her athleticism and artistry before discovering her true calling in dance.
Stokes's diverse background shines through in her teaching, where she shares her love for Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, and Acrobatics. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Business Marketing and Public Relations. Stokes served as Captain of the UTA Mavericks Dance Team, earning accolades such as Rookie of the Year, Veteran of the Year, MVP of UTADT, and NDA All-American Dancer.
As a regional and national award-winning choreographer, Stokes has inspired countless dancers and dance teams across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, guiding them to achieve prestigious titles and recognition. At Stokes Studios, she's dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where dancers of all backgrounds and levels can thrive. Stokes believes that dance is a powerful form of expression accessible to everyone, and she's committed to helping each student discover their unique potential.
